
I decided to go with the circle idea because I liked to symmetry. In both drafts, I decided to go with three circles of varying size and heavy stroke because it added to the simplistic look that I was trying to go for, in my opinion.After working with this logo for afew days, I realized that the banner idea didn’t fit well with the circle idea.

I considered taking either one of these out, because it seemed a little too cluttered within the logo, but after further experimentation with different looks, I found that the logo looks sort of naked without both of the pieces of text. So I decided to add another piece of text toward to the bottom of the center circle, which says “Learn a Language”. However, I still didn’t think this was enough. People commented on my last post that this was a good way to represent my topic well. My design process was to design an image that symbolized Women Empowerment without just solely using the words. I decided to create a logo that focused solely on the theme of my blog. Sticking with the simplistic idea, I incorporated the three ways to say hello in Spanish, French, and Italian (Hola, Bonjour, Caio), which I placed at the top of the center circle. I thought of a more simple center logo while keeping a semblance of the draft logo. As I shared in my last post, I’ve been having some difficulty trying to find ways to broadcast my topic, which is learning a language. I completely restarted on my design after viewing my criticisms and my peers final projects. I think that orange is always a good way to go, because it gives the logo that sort of pop that it needs it seems to say “Hey, look at me!”įor the text of this logo, I needed to be meticulous about what I wanted to broadcast for my topic.

This is what I think happened in my draft logo so I toned it down a bit for this draft. After look at the rubric, I found that simplicity in colors in sometimes better too many colors can end up looking tacky. But I was also going for that simplistic look. As with my first draft, my goal first and foremost was to create a simplistic logo, with some color, and some text that represented my topic of learning a language well.įor the colors in this draft, I decided to use things that would draw people in, and make people want to look at it.
